Boating at Jordanelle

On Saturday we took the boat up in the afternoon for a quick trip on the lake. The kids were in heaven. We bought a new 3 person tube and the kids couldn't get enough of it. Christian was the designated boat helper, whether it was cleaning the boat or having fun, he couldn't get enough of it! Madi was happy to sit on the boat and relax with the "blow dryer". Sammy couldn't thank us enough for giving her "the longest turn ever on the tube!" Tommy as always was a stud and a great navigator when the weather got a little rough. Even though boating is alot of work we all had a blast! Thanks for letting us use the boat Grandma and Grandpa!!!

Selling Snow Cones...

On Friday the kids decided they wanted to sell snow cones. They set up shop and sold some pretty delicious snow cones. Despite the slow traffic during the day they made out with $15.00! It was a great way to meet the neighbors and a great way for the kids to learn how to work.

4th Of July

On the 4th of July we had a fun party at our house. Blake barbequed up some mean brats and there were enough fireworks to last most the night! Everyone in the Hodson family came except Mike and Sharon who live in the midst of sugarhouse and because of the crowds would have had a hard time making it here and back. Ashley, Mark and Adri stopped by and the kids were happy to see Adri, as always. Casey and Marissa were up in Bear Lake, but we will catch them next year. What a great night! I think that we are "livening" the street up quite a bit.

Summer Fun

We were able to go swimming at a really fun pool at a house where Aunt Megan was babysitting. The pool had a cliff to jump off of and a fast slide that went down the hill. Thanks Aunt Megan!
